I’m not sure if this has been mentioned before, but I have encountered a problem when my Mac is running low on hard drive space. Basically, when there is not enough hard drive space, any files I have open with Sublime that I try to save are saved as blank files – so when I inevitably have to restart my computer (which restores a bit of hard drive space), I end up with lost work.
I understand this is a more systemic problem with my situation, where basically I need to deal with the lack of hard drive space (sometimes I really wish I hadn’t chosen the solid state drive!), but at the same time I don’t think Sublime should be saving blank files if it doesn’t have the hard drive space available to save the file. Hit me with an error message instead, and leave the old state of the file intact – please don’t wipe my file!
Don’t want to sound too negative, because I seriously love working with Sublime. Especially V3, which is awesome.
