I just tried Sublime Merge…it’s lovely.
But I was just in the process of committing my changes, and it popped up a “Do you want to bye?” dialog. I said “No”, and all my local changes were lost (staged and unstaged)!.
Any idea if I did something wrong or if this is a bug?

There’s a ‘hot exit’ or some configuration which allows you to continue where you left off ( like most browsers have for tabs, this has for text )…
It is definitely very useful, especially if, for instance, while typing you get a microsoft update dialog and it only appears for a split second because you’re typing, and then the pc reboots ( I had to disable updates in the registry because it was so annoying - they download but only install when I click, and the good news is there is no month or year limit using that registry mod )
Anyways - when a dialog shows up, it’s usually best to hit cancel.
