Hi,
I have configured a ruler at 80 chars. I often write LaTeX documents and I want my lines of text not to be longer than 80 chars. So I usually type text until I reach the ruler and then type enter so that I have a hard line break (if I open the file on a other PC or in a other editor which may not have a ruler, I still have a line break each 80 chars).
I wonder whether it would be possible to automatically do this process, as follows: as long as the current line’s length is below 80 characters, nothing needs to be done. As soon as the line is 81 or more characters long, aline break must be inserted before the last word which exceeds this 80 characters.
Is such a thing possible?
