License question: is my V3 license a 3 year license?

I bought a v3 license back in January 2021. In the Sublime Text 4 release article there’s a mention of licenses changing to be good for years of releases. ST 4 is ‘taking’ the v3 license (which is the correct behavior to my understanding).

However, it’s unclear to me if this license is good for releases until Jan 2024 or something else? Nothing is mentioned about a “good until” date either in the license text or in the “About” dialog (licenses with an end date should make it clear in both of those places).

The license terms changed in September 2019 to what is mentioned in the announcement, so anyone that has purchased a license since that date falls under those new terms.

So in short, you’re currently in month four or so of your three years of updates, depending on when in January you purchased your license.

All licenses fall under the new terms, regardless of when they were purchased.
