License purchase question

Hi Sublime Text team,
I love using Sublime Text and would like to purchase a license. Unfortunately, I’m in Iran and we don’t have access to PayPal or other payment services, except for cryptocurrency. Although $167 is more than a month’s salary here, I still want to pay for it because it’s a great tool, and I feel bad using it without a license. Is there any way I can pay with crypto? I’m okay with any stable token standards or native tokens. Please let me know.

No, we don’t have any way to pay with crypto nor do we plan on adding any.

So, it basically means there’s absolutely no way for Iranian and Russian programmers to buy Sublime Text, right? I mean, I know it’s also complicated for you, and it’s absolutely not your fault. I just want to clarify the situation. Can we use some kind of proxy, like someone buying licenses on our behalf and we pay them with crypto? I want to know if this is a “legal” limitation or if you just don’t want to deal with the crypto headache.

There’s nothing stopping someone from buying a license for someone else.
