License Key Will Not Work

#1

I’ve received an email from the purchasing department for my organization which includes a license key for Sublime Text. I’ve followed the directions for entering this license key (including the “BEGIN” and "END lines, etc.), yet I still get a message saying “This license key does not appear to be valid.”

Obviously, the following is not what I actually pasted into the “Enter License” dialogue, but it is a representation (all letters are “X” and all numbers are “0”). What am I doing wrong here? Is there a line break or a dash or something that shouldn’t be in there? Or has there been a mixup on Sublime Text’s end? Should I just give it a day or two and try again? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

check for a missing line break, my key for ST2 looks like that:

----- BEGIN LICENSE ----- My Name Single User License XXXX-000000 <big hex block> ------ END LICENSE ------
