License Key stop working after a few minutes

And before you think - well that is a pirated license key, then no, its a key that was purchased.
I have used this on a few different computers over the years, but this time I switched to a mac, and now the key is accepted, but after a few minutes, it tells me " Your license key is no longer valid, and has been removed "
Do I need to purchase a new key, did I use it on too many computers?.. or what is going on?

Hello,

Sorry you’re having this issue. It looks like you’ve previously upgraded your license. Are you perhaps accidentally using your old license key instead of your latest one? When you upgrade a license we invalidate the old one and send you a new one. If you can’t find your license key you can recover it here.

There is no limit on the number of computers you can use your license key on, or anything else that should cause this. I also just tested your latest license key on my computer and it works without issue.

Hmm.
I just checked, and it seems yes, that I am using the new key… At least have two keys in my keyvault one for 3 and another for 4.
I will try to recover and see if that works.
Else I will purchase a new, I dont mind supporting your application a bit extra. :slight_smile:

And I just recovered the Key
I do not understand it though.
The new key is for Sublime 4 as well as the old one… I now have 3 keys (2 invalid ones) which is weird :slight_smile: but, it works now. So thank you so much for your help man, this is great!!

We disconnected the licenses from the major version for Sublime Text 4, so having more than one key normal :slight_smile:
