launching sublime from command line always opens root directory /

issue may or may not be related to opening hidden folder ~/.bash-it
at least that was last successfull command, and right after that launching
subl /whatever/path
result in
subl /
for some reason

ok, and now it has directory listed twice in a sidebar
… or opens Sublime with no directory whatsoever

this may be a silly question, but does resizing the window after launching the subl command make any difference? maybe it is a repainting issue?

it may be a repainting issue for no directory case, but it is not for root directory case - just checked.
I’ve erased and reinstalled Sublime without any change :frowning:
I am on OS X, if sublime stores recently opened items somewhere in system - it would be nice to know
