Latexing (Knitr) highlighting is a bit messed up

Recently, I’ve noticed that highlighting of Rnw is not as god as it was before. For example, % does not turn into gray – commented lines. Similarly, if you use ’ as in John’s everything turn into yellow expecting ending single quotes, which should be ` ’ etc. Does anyone experience similar problems? Does anyone have some remedy?

The LaTeX syntax, on which the LaTeXing syntaxes depend on, has changed. LaTeXing did not update its syntaxes, such that they are broken.
If you need one of the LaTeXing syntaxes you can revert the change of the default syntax as I described here.
