Last version of ST and SM crash at start

#1

Updated both ST and SM to the latest dev version today and both crash at start without any message or windows displayed, only a dump file.
Am I the only one ?
Reverting ST to previous version make it works again.

Have no time right now to restart my computer and make a clean install.

Same here, win7.
How to roll back the latest update?

Same here on Win 10, after updating neither ST nor SM launch. I’ve tried reinstalling them both but to no avail.

Solved by installing previous version again.

Here are the links to the previous dev build before the problem (I wonder why the download page doesn’t provide the links to them)

ST 3197 download links for Win

SM 1109 download links for Win

Get the current dev link and replace version number:

Same issue with the dev build.
Only creating a dump file upon starting ST, no error message.

Same problem here - I can provide a crash dump file if necessary.

Could you revert without losing all settings?

On Win10 easiest way to revert is going to the trash bin, restore the previous version’s folder, delete the new one in your programs folder and then rename the previously deleted folder (removing the version number), did that earlier this morning, works like a charm…
