Hi, I use Sublime just to compile academic stuff (LaTeX), know little of ST3, no programming skill. But I need a feature that has been talked about in the past.
Here it is
I need current cursor selection to remain in the same place after file reload. Much appreciated.
Keeping cursor selection upon file reload

Try https://github.com/titoBouzout/BufferScroll.
Use Package Control to install it.
I don’t know how exactly it handles reloads though, @tito should answer that.

Well there is a limitation there that the application does not have reload events. IIRC with bufferscroll is not possible to restore view that “autoreload”. I may be able to put a shorcut to restore the view if the reload is triggered manually

Ok thanks. If I may ask in this thread for the opposite as well: Often I need cursor in ST3 to reposition according to reloading app.
