Jump Back incorrectly jumping to another tab

This is a problem I’ve lived with since ST3.
I use Alt+- a lot to go back to previous lines.
But sometimes, it inadvertently jumps to other open tabs, without me having moved there for many hours…
It doesn’t make sense.
How to solve it?

I’m having the same problem and it diminish the (great) value of Jump back. To a point that it is not useful because it takes my mind off what I was coding. Is there a solution?

I think that Sublime gets confused when there is more than one column. At times it will jump to a previous position that I actually haven’t been to (it isn’t the previous).

One of over 2000 issues, lovely. I think this one is a pretty hefty usability flaw.

I am thinking of building a plugin that does this because I tried using it and it is indeed confusing where it jumps.
