JSLint was one of the recommended packages by some YouTube Sublime Text aficionado.
Being a newbee, I installed all the recommended packages into my working PC,
Dell Inspiron 15 i5-7200U 2.7GHz 64-bit 8GB RAM Windows 10 Home Ed.
All worked fine till recently.
After a SAVE ALL (which I had automated via a custom key-binding of CTRL+ALT+S) I started getting the errors marked out on the JS code and the error detail window show up on the lower third of the screen.
Initially I was able to cancel the JSLint by clicking on any error link and then cancel the error detail window via hitting ESC key once or twice.
I could then carry on using SAVE ALL without ill-effect.
But today, after an hour’s work with many SAVE ALL commands issued, I had the JSLInt interruption again and it always returned after CTRL+ALT+S.
What’s more, after cancelling the JS errors and detail window, I could not insert text via the keyboard, I could not use the RETURN key (it just moved the cursor down a row) – could not do any editing really.
There was nothing for it but throw out JSLint.
Things are now going normally – at least so far.
Has anyone had a similar experience ?
