Joining Windows

I don’t have to wiggle anything on Windows. Does using the default theme help?

Also works fine for me under all platforms; I would second the recommendation of trying the default theme in case that’s doing something fiddly with the tab sizes that might cause this or something.

Here’s a MacOS example, since that’s what you’re using (and I have no ready gif-capturing abilities on this Linux machine ;))

It seems a “tearing” action is required, where I move the tab down first, and then to the side. The following gif shows this:

confirmed also on Windows. I think it’s due to the way the dragging behavior works: drag sideways to rearrange the tab order within it’s own window, and drag it vertically out the tab bar to move it to a different or new window.

Here is an example of tab joining in chrome:

Thanks @kingkeith and @OdatNurd for helping me get to the bottom of this!
