He is not using bufferScrollthere, because he does not want to fix the bug in set_viewport_position nor want to add preferences for scroll, instead of this, he is slowly written these features which will be included in sublime 65, after fixing the endless bug of close html tag.

Everything in my setup is left at the default, in general, when I want to change something I just make it the new default I do all my coding within Sublime Text.
These days I’m currently coding on a 15" retina mac book at the office, and either a linux or windows pc at home. I used to have 3 30" monitors as part of the home setup, but they radiated too much heat, so I’m down to one now.

Jon, I’d be more interested in your PC setup. What parts are in your Windows & Linux box (assuming they’re different PCs)
No plugins at all … ? Quite hard to believe, but it might explain why the API hasn’t been expanded as much as some people want.
