'j' key in vintage mode mysteriously stopped working

I stepped away from the computer for a few minutes to get something to eat, and when I came back, the ‘j’ key no longer navigated downward. It now instead navigates left until it reaches the beginning of the line.

No one else was physically around the computer. Vintage mode settings appear to be fine. Restarted Sublime, OSX, etc. and still nothing.

Any ideas??

So this seems to be caused by the key binding I have setup for “j”, “j”] (to exit insert mode). I changed that to “j”, “k”], and now j moves down again. Not sure why it stopped working all of a sudden though because I’ve been using “j”, “j”] to exit insert mode for a few weeks now with no navigation problems.
