Ĵ is not working in Sublime Text 2 (US-Esperanto keyboard)

#1

The Esperanto Alphabet has six accented keys: ĉ, ĝ, ĥ, ĵ, ŝ, ŭ, and, using the US-Esperanto keyboard (installed) they can be accessed by simply holding on the right Alt button then hitting the desired key (ex: to make ĉ, I just need to press the right Alt key before hitting ‘c’)

It works in c, g, h, s and u, but not in j. I can’t do a ĵ in Sublime Text 2. It works elsewhere: in this textarea (I’m typing), notepad, notepad++, browser forms, etc. It just doesn’t work on Sublime Text 2.

Any ideas on why I can’t make the alphabet ĵ work?

(OS is Windows 7.)

Enter sublime.log_input(True) and sublime.log_commands(True) in the console. Then attempt to press alt+j and post the result here (i.e. the console log).

command: run_emmet_action {“action”: “matching_pair”}

Okay, so the Emmet package is overriding the key binding that would normally produce the special character. Either disable emmet or check out its preferences to disable the key bindings.
