I don’t know if you actively monitor the issue tracker, Jon, but it appears that you don’t participate in discussions. If we only need to create forum threads for issues where you need to actively communicate with the reporter or users, then that’s very fine with me. I’d just like to know.
Either way, I’d like to see this particular issue fixed where a view shares its settings object with its clone until ST is restarted.
It’s basically as follows:
1. Have a view
-
Clone the view using "New view into file" command -
Run view.settings().settings_id in the console for both views; they are the same -
Restart -
Repeat 3. The settings ids are now different for the views
