I’m definitely a newbie when it comes to Sublime (been using/abusing for 5 years). My question is for whatever reason over the last month when I open something up in sublime and I go to highlight something with my mouse, I don’t see the highlight for a few seconds (lag). Did I accidentally enable/disable something or what else could it be? Thank you for the help in advance.

If you’re using ST4 you can try Safe Mode to see if it happens there or not; if it does not, then it’s a package you installed.
You can also use Tools > Developer > Profile Plugins after you’ve experienced the problem for a bit to see if there’s maybe a package doing something when the selection is modified.
