I am used to the press hold key functionality with macOS 12 - MacBook Pro 2021 which makes possible to type accentuated letters pretty quickly (French é,à and so on). I hold the ‘e’ key and then move right with arrow panel to select the desired accent like é è ê. unfortunately it is not working properly with sublime text: when I do that I get the letter repeated like ‘eé’ or ‘eè’ or ‘aà’. It is pretty annoying.
I guess it is conflicting with some kind of shortcuts of the application but I just started using it today and I have no clue how to disable this behavior. I don’t want to add any custom shortcut, key combination etc… I’d just like to use the macos functionality I am used to.
hold key e + right arrow->: expected é. got eé.
hold key a + right arrow->: expected à. got aà.
