Is there any way to highlight the current line only in the focused group?

#1

I would like to use "highlight_line": true, but I’ve found that when I switch from Sublime Text 3 to another application and switch back, it makes me have a hard time telling which group has keyboard focus. Even though I have to look for the blinking caret in both cases, the highlighted lines in unfocused groups end up distracting me. Even though the highlighted line has a different background color in the focused group than in unfocused groups, the difference is too subtle to be effective for me. (I don’t even see why I would care what the current line is in an unfocused buffer.)

Is there any way to highlight the current line only in the focused group? Or alternatively, is there any way to control how the highlighted line appears in unfocused groups? (I’ve looked at Monokai.tmTheme, but I couldn’t see any obvious way to control the line highlight color independently for focused vs. unfocused groups.)

maybe try
https://packagecontrol.io/packages/InactivePanes

and if it doesn’t do what you want with the line highlight, open an issue to request the feature that the line highlight color could be customized for inactive panes

Thanks! That package appears to work by making its own version of my current color theme and applying it to inactive panes, and I can edit the .tmTheme file it generated to set the lineHighlight color manually to achieve the behavior I want.
