I had asked this same question several years ago. At the time the Sidebar was still very new; and, didn’t have any settings. Is there a way to do it now? The sidebar is pretty much useless to me without sorting by date.
Is there a way yet to sort the Sidebar files by last modified date?

Geez. Really? I doubt that’s going to happen considering how many years has gone by since people first started asking for this feature… going back to the old Subline Text forum. Thanks for the quick reply.
