I encountered this issue https://github.com/sublimehq/sublime_text/issues/5583 in build 4136, and I would like to revert it back to an earlier build. I tried switching from the dev channel to the stable channel as shown in https://www.sublimetext.com/docs/linux_repositories.html, but for some reason it’s still the same build 4136 when I reinstall sublime from the stable channel. How can I revert sublime to an earlier build?
Is there a way to revert sublime to an earlier build for Ubuntu?

Build 4136 is not in the stable channel. Perhaps you haven’t removed the repository for the dev channel. If you’re using apt you can also install specific versions using apt install sublime_text=4134.
