I would like to be be easily able to look at the definition of a function in the file at the same time as where it is used, but I cannot find a setting nor a plugin that would accomplish what I want.
Is there a method for accomplishing this? Thanks.
Is there a way to make Goto Definition open in a new pane, tab, or window, even if the definition is in the current file?
This feature is currently not possible in Sublime Text 3000 builds but the next major version of Sublime Text (ST4) has the ability to preview the definition(s) in a side by side fashion. Currently ST4 is in private beta and if you are a licensed user, you can try out the new ST4 builds by hopping on in the Sublime Text discord server.
