Is it possible to show some custom message when user hover over status bar?

Apart from the status bar text message, whether it is possible or not to display some custom message when user hover over the status bar?

No, that’s not possible. Hover events for the mouse are triggered over the text in the file, the margin to the right of a line of text and in the gutter on the left, but that’s all.
