Yeah, i know about them. just think that in-build solution would be much more greater.

The core provides almost everything needed to provide that function. The only possible visual advantage would be the ability to integrate that function the same way as the built-in console, means a horizontal split input output panel.

It’s just a question of quality and OS independence of packages providing such a feature. A terminal is a stupid stdin/stdout forwarder, which accesses a shell interpreter. It can be handled by a simple output panel, I think.

No matter whether implemented as python package or as C function from core. The solution and functionality would be quite similar.
