Invalid destination port

When I launch ST the application opens but the dreaded spinning beachball of death appears.

Looking in the console logs I see this 100s of times

FSEventStreamStart: register_with_server: ERROR: f2d_register_rpc() => (ipc/send) invalid destination port (268435459)

As I’ve reinstalled ST maybe it’s a package at fault ? Thoughts please.
Build 4126 Mac (Intel).

To narrow down wether it’s a package or not, have you tried seeing if things work as expected in Sublime’s Safe Mode? Just reinstalling doesn’t alter any configuraiton.
