Inserting audio files issue

#1

Hi, there! I am studying to create a virtual instrument, I copy the wav files, paste them into Sublime but they are not pasted. And, of course, when I load the instrument file in to a sampler it says that the project is empty. How can I fix it?
P.S. Actually I tried to do the same in Notepad++ with the same result…
Best regards, Arthur

Sublime Text and Notepad++ are “text” editors.

Yes, of course, I know and maybe I mixed something, but the guy in this video (it’s about 2.34) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxPRmD_RNCY&t=148s&ab_channel=DavidHilowitzMusic copies and pastes…something from the samples folder into the editor. I also typed all this stuff manually but again a sampler said that the file is empty…

It’s a feature of Mac OS itself: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/1850895

On Windows, you do right-click with shift held, you will see copy path in the popup context menu.

Well, then I should press Copy the path, shouldn’t I? I did this but in the editor it pasted the whole path…But in the video in the editor only the files names were pasted.

That’s how Windows works. You are not on Mac OS.

It’s easy to remove all prefixes and leave on filenames via multi-cursors in ST.

Hm…I did it even before your reply but the error stayed the same… later on I will make a screenshot with both errors, maybe it will be more helpful.
