In OS X, clicking on ST2 sometimes does not focus the window

Clicking on ST2 2.0.2 in OS X 10.11.6 sometimes results in the window not gaining focus. It pops in front of other windows, but does not gain keyboard focus and maintains its background appearance. This happens intermittently, but I see it happen several times each day on two different machines.

Needless to say, this is very annoying, as I click and start typing but my keystrokes end up in whatever application I was just using.

I’m not certain, but that may be an OS X issue. I’m fairly sure I’ve had that problem with other apps as well. Do you use the “spaces” feature in OS X? I sometimes work around the problem when it occurs by switching to another space, then back again.

@blurk, I do use Spaces. But I’m pretty sure I haven’t seen this happen with any other apps.

My workaround is just clicking a second time which properly focuses ST2.
