Ignoring packages on update

#1

Unsure if this is a bug or some behaviour that I’m not aware of.

Restarting sublime (4102) appeared to disable some plugins (LSP-pyright in this case).

Inspecting the console:

Package Control: Upgraded LSP-pyright to 1.1.62
Package Control: Upgraded SublimeLinter to 4.16.3
ignored packages updated to: ["LSP-pyright", "Markdown"]

I had to manually enable these packages through package control, even after another restart.

packages are temporarily disabled during update iirc. but that doesn’t seem to explain what you have encountered…

Or it does explain it … some bug in the process or re-enabling the packages.

The update process in Package Control disables packages to unload them so that it can modify the contents, since some OS’s like WIndows lock files. It should remove them from the list of ignored packages once the update is complete. Packages not coming out of the list of ignored files can happen if you restart Sublime while the update is in progress.
