#1

I am unable to see my Menu at the top of the page. Hence I can’t save, open or load files. Can someone please help?

You can press alt to temporarily show the main menu.

You call View: Toggle Menu from the command palette to “permanently” show/hide the main menu for the current window.

Does that mean I should start Sublime to do that stuff? I get to an empty screen and cannt do very little there, even if I press the right key on the mouse to see a menu.

alt only works on Windows. For Linux you can add it:

{"keys": ["alt+m"], "command": "toggle_menu" }

to your keybindings.

I am actually using Windows and was able to retrieve the menu from your instructions. Once again I must thank you for your advise.
