I’ve been unable to click, drag, and do stuff with my selected code in ST3 and am unsure how to proceed. The text is immediately unselected once I release the mouse button. I’ve tried other applications and they do not have any issues like this. I’m running Ubuntu and have tried reinstalling ST3 without any luck. I’d appreciate any help with this.

Reinstalling doesn’t produce a fresh install of ST3. You need to revert to a freshly installed state and then check if the problem persists.
