I cannot type in my Command Palette in my Sublime Text 3

I’m using Sublime Text 3 in my Ubuntu 16.04 OS, when i press Ctrl + Shift + P the palette will pop-up but when i try to type something the palette hide and nothing happens. it will only work if i use my mouse to scroll for package. SO link

have you tried disabling all plugins?

thank you for your reply sir,
yeah, i already reinstall sublime many times and start from scratch, a fresh install is the same.

reinstalling doesn’t give ST a fresh state, you can try following the instructions at https://www.sublimetext.com/docs/3/revert.html

unfortunately i already did that sir. i go to my /home/myuser/.config/sublime-text 3 and delete all files but still the same.
