can i remove the tab bar in the second row like the login shell thing?

Go to View -> Layout -> Single from the main menu or press alt + shift + 1 as a keyboard shortcut to reduce it to a single view.

nono i want a double view but i dont want the tab bar

it is possible to hide the menu bar but not the tabs.

More specifically, you can hide the tab bars, but they’re all hidden in the current window; you can’t hide them on a per group basis.
