How to open a new tap for a file in the sidebar?

#1

There is no doubt. Sublime Text is great. Yet since I am using it, I am asking myself, how to open a new tab for a source code file in the sidebar. I have tried every key combi that came to my mind. I searched in the docs and in the references. Yet, sublime is only opening a new tap if I do a quick change in the already opened. In most cases a taps content that I want to keep opened is exchanged by the content I intend to open additionally. (I am using a German keyboard.) So folks don’t be angry for such a stupid question.

Well, files open in a semi-transient tab, when just clicking once or moving via arrow keys in sidebar.

To keep the tab open (remove semi-transient state), you can double-click on a file in sidebar or tab label. Alternatively just hit enter, while sidebar is focused and cursor is on desired file.
