How to make text one selection

:unamused: Hello. How can I make this arrow appear on every given text I want? (http://i.imgur.com/dvNixAd.png)
I tried everything for it to appear on this given text : (http://i.imgur.com/4HyWc6W.png). But it doesn’t. any help?

You can not make it appear in the state you made the screenshot with (the “collapse” arrow) but you can manually fold text, which will then display the “expand” arrow.

For that, just select text and run the “fold” command, default binding: { “keys”: “ctrl+shift+”], “command”: “fold” },

FYI, the arrow appears when the following two lines have a higher indentation.
