atm it find the files and sort them alphabetically , however i think it will be even more helpful if it show the results of the currently opened files first then the rest.

I guess you could modify Packages/Default/symbol.py navigate_to_symbol to change the order the results appear in

wow, thats a 4 years old ticket and still nothing changed 
.
however, could u please tell me what should i change in the navigate_to_symbol to get it to show the current opened files results first ?

I’m actually also looking for this. I keep modifying the wrong file because F12 jumps to the definition in another file instead of the current one
