How to Adjust SMerge Command Palette's Position

Hi,
I would like to adjust Sublime Merge’s command palette’s position, as the current position often covers my branch name (our branch names are often ticket IDs, which are 5 digit numbers, not easy to remember). I would like to lower the command palette, how can I do that?

I don’t believe that the size and position of the command palette can be adjusted; if so it would be through the theme.

However based on Merge and Text using the same theme engine behind the scenes and people wanting to adjust properties of the command palette in Text and not being able to, I would imagine that carries over to Merge as well.

Note that you can see the currently checked out branch above the command palette.
