How to add '-' to be a symbol that separates the words?

#1

Because the tab snippet does not work if there is ‘-’ in the beginning. Say if I have a tab snippet for ‘sse’ then it does not work for ‘-sse’, but works for ‘+sse’.
I once read a document says that we can add symbols to separate the words, I guess if I add ‘-’, then it should work for ‘-sse’.

I find out that it only happens in the math environment $$, that ‘-sse’ does not work

emmm… Yes, it works in the general environment, but in the math environment, more precisely, inside the dollar symbol, ‘-sse’ does not work…

Oh, one more thing, if it is just ‘-sse’, it works, but if there are some letters before ‘-’, say ‘y-sse’, then it does not work
