How do you increase scroll bar width / thickness in Sublime Text 4?

The scrollbars are too skinny. How can I make them wider/thicker so they’re easier to drag with the mouse?

I could cope with the thin ones, except they are invisible in my Mariana dark theme. To see even the thumb, I have to scroll with the mouse wheel or keyboard, and watch for the tiny thumb to light up - for a second or two. If I can get the pointer to that tiny location before it disappears, I can drag it.

I’ve searched in Settings and in Customize Theme, and can’t find anything related to “thumb” or “scrollbar” or anything else that might affect this. Does anyone know where this might be controlled, or what terms are used to refer to it?

Overlay scroll bars are controlled by the "overlay_scroll_bars" setting. By default this matches your operating system’s behavior.

Thanks! I disabled “overlay_scroll_bars”, and now at least the thumb is always visible. Still really pale until I mouse over it, but at least I can tell where to point toward it.

Any way to make it dim less when it is inactive?

The scroll bar styling is controlled by theme: https://www.sublimetext.com/docs/themes.html#scroll-bars
