I believe to delete an entire topic you need to flag the post for moderator attention (radio box Something Else) and enter a comment that says why you want the post deleted, and the moderator will delete it for you if you have a good enough reason.
For replies on topics there’s a trash can icon under your post you can use to delete that particular reply, but it will remain for some amount of time (if I recall correctly 24 hours) before it’s actually deleted, and during that period people will be able to read what your reply was before it goes away.
As far as I’ve been able to determine, the authors of Discourse are very concerned about the many ways to grief people by being able to delete your own posts, which is why there is no overt way to do so.
