How do I upgrade to build 4113 from 4107?

TL;DR: Using Ubuntu 21.04, have Sublime Text 4 installed, how do I upgrade to new build 4113?

Sublime Test 4 (release 4107) released on 20 May 2021. This morning I opened up Sublime Text 4 and it said that there was a new version. I clicked on the “Download” button and it took me to https://www.sublimetext.com/download. I use Linux so I downloaded the x86-64 tar.xz. But, how do I “upgrade” my current version? I use Pop!_OS, a flavor of Ubuntu (21.04). I’m sure the solution isn’t Ubuntu specific.

I know the files are installed in my path /home/<user>/.config/sublime-text-3/ (yes, it is sublime text 4, the folder just stayed the same name for some reason).

If you’ve installed Sublime Text using the repositories then it will be updated alongside the rest of the system. If you’ve manually installed it you will also need to manually update it. If you’ve otherwise used 3rd party distributions (like from the snap store) then I suggest switching to using the repositories or you will simply need to wait for the 3rd party to upgrade you.
