How do I save a sublime text file as an .ics file on my Mac?

#1

Hello,

I have created my first sublime text file, which I need to use to created recurring appointments in google calendar on the last weekday of the month (no way to do directly so found this article with the workaround: https://woorkup.com/google-calendar-last-day-of-month/).

When I go to save as, I do not get an option to save as an .ics file. How do I do this?

Best,

Sarah

I am not familiar with MAC. Don’t you have an option to save as “other” or similar and manually add the file extension?

When you save the file with .ics extension, is your OS still adding the selected extension (example: save as… ‘textfile.ics’ results in ‘textfile.ics.txt’)?

I open .ics files in Sublime from time to time to customize them before adding to my calendar on my Mac.

You just manually add the .ics extension when you save the file.

It’s Mac, not “MAC”. It’s not an acronym and never has been
