How do I get syntax highlighting via Quick Look on macOS Mojave?

I love writing in Markdown in ST3. It especially looks beautiful to me in Mariana. I’d love to see this same syntax highlighting when I quick look (highlight file, press space bar) a *.md file in Finder.

Currently, I just see plain text:

This makes me sad. I don’t want to be sad.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

  • macOS Mojave 10.14.1
  • ST3 build 3200

afaik SublimeHQ would have to code special support for quick look / file preview handlers into Sublime Text to use ST for this. But other solutions exist, which perhaps could be configured to use the same color scheme as ST, like:

Bummer. Wish sublime had it natively built in. Oh well. Thanks a lot for the link though. I’ll check that out.
