How do I disable update checks?

I’m a registered user of Sublime Text 3.

I don’t want it to check for updates at launch.

How do I disable this?

Add "update_check": false to your user settings.

Setting update_check to false doesn’t work in latest version. That’s not a valid setting.

The latest stable build is 3207 and the latest development build is 3206. If I download and run build 3205, this setting definitely works and does not tell me there’s a newer version.

How did you apply the setting?

Hi,
I’m on v3.2.2, build 3211, and setting update_check to false in my user settings does absolutely nothing. Any other ideas?

You need to be using a licensed copy of ST3 in order for update_check to work.
