How can I stop Multi cursor after using?

I love the multi cursor feature in Sublime Text 3. But how can I stop it after using?

Otherwise, when I hit enter to go next line, it creates some gaps:

PS: This is no bug. Its working as we expect it to work. I just need help to know how can I stop multi cursor after using this cool feature

Just hitting Esc stops multi cursor.
