How can I close the version check when sublime-text start?

I used sublime-text-2 in ubuntu OS. And it seems not very easy to update the application.And I use sublime-text-2 frequently. But once there’s a new version, it asks me whether I want to download. It really disturbs me. Because I don’t want to update it very often. So how can I close the version check?

There’s currently no option to disable the update check, however make sure you’re using the stable builds, and not the dev builds - the stable builds are updated approximately monthly.
