Hello,
I would like to have a backup copy of the edited file on each save in the folder of the edited file.
As I coming from Emacs / Vim I am used to have a backup copy with a ~ at the end.
Example: Saving Text1.md should generate automatically a file called Text1.md~ in the current directory.
I searched the forum and PackageControl for backup and I didn’t find a solution. Packages as Local History or Automatic Backups create more backup versions in a separate directory and don’t fit my needs.
Is there a setting or do I need to write a plugin for that?
