Hello all!
I’m currently running Version 3.1.1 Build 3176 on Windows 10 x64 and this issue has been bugging me for a while. If I open a file with SublimeText that is on a removable drive(flash drive, etc), it opens a handle to the directory I opened the file in. It keeps that folder handle(file) handle open. When I got to “safely” eject the drive it tells me something is still using the drive, even though I have closed all the files(including the ones I had open in SublimeText).
This has also started occurring when I am editing files in mount images(WIM files) and try to unmount them.
There are two ways to solve this problem:
- Close SublimeText entirely. Not a huge deal but it is kind of annoying.
- Open ProcessExplorer, search for the removable drive or mount path, select the handles SublimeText has open, and close those handles through ProcessExplorer.
As I write this I’m wondering if it has to do with where the File/Folder Open dialog expects to start.in, maybe?
Any help with this would be great. Please let me know if you need further information.
