Ho can I close a scratch view

Hi,

When I open an input panel, I create a new scratch view to show the user all the options he can use in the input panel.
Once he is done and submit the query, I would like to close that view. I could not find how to do it. any idea?

send the close command to that view (retuned by the new_file command)
